SALINA ISLAND, SICILY

There are seven Volcanic islands around, and Salina is one of the most special ones, to me at least. Salina Island is part of the Aeolian Islands in Sicily. The island is very ecological in its way, I found it also to have a lot of cachet, chic gems of the people and its nature.

We found a small house/apartment with a sea horizon view. The first thing we did when we got inside was jump on each other, Alon picked a flower from the small bush outside and I took a snapshot of that moment I will never forget. Bless for the camera.

To live in that house/apartment was unwind and almost unreal. It was quiet and easy living thanks to the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Bless for the sun.

We rented the place from a local Sicilian named Antonio, which we found on Airbnb. First, we booked it for six nights. Then we realized we didn't want to move so added six more nights, eventually, we stayed at Antonio's place for eighteen nights. 18 in Hebrew is Hai = חי, which translates to 'live'. And that's exactly what we did.
